Joint Health
Nutritional support for joint mobility, cartilage health, and connective tissue integrity.
What this formula supports
The Science Behind It
Joints are dynamic structures where bone, cartilage, synovial fluid, tendons, and ligaments must work in perfect coordination to allow pain-free movement.
Cartilage, the shock-absorbing tissue at joint surfaces, has no direct blood supply — making it almost entirely dependent on the diffusion of nutrients from surrounding fluid.

Ingredient Deep Dive
What it is. Glucosamine is an amino sugar that serves as a building block for glycosaminoglycans — the structural molecules that give cartilage its shock-absorbing resilience. The body produces glucosamine naturally, but production declines with age.
What it does. Glucosamine sulfate provides substrate for chondrocytes to synthesize proteoglycans and glycosaminoglycans — the structural matrix of cartilage. Research suggests it also inhibits enzymes responsible for cartilage breakdown.
Why we include it. Glucosamine provides the raw material for cartilage synthesis — supporting the body's ability to maintain and repair joint tissue.
What it is. Chondroitin is a major component of cartilage — a glycosaminoglycan that attracts water into the cartilage matrix, providing its cushioning and shock-absorbing properties.
What it does. Chondroitin inhibits enzymes that degrade cartilage (including MMPs and aggrecanases), provides structural components for cartilage matrix, and attracts fluid into cartilage to maintain its resilience and cushioning capacity.
Why we include it. Chondroitin complements glucosamine by providing a different structural component while also protecting existing cartilage from enzymatic breakdown.
What it is. Boswellia serrata has been used traditionally for joint comfort and has documented anti-inflammatory effects specifically relevant to joint tissue.
What it does. Boswellia inhibits 5-lipoxygenase (5-LOX), reducing leukotriene production in joint tissue. It also inhibits MMPs — the enzymes that break down cartilage matrix. Clinical trials have shown benefits for joint comfort and function.
Why we include it. Boswellia addresses the inflammatory component of joint discomfort while also protecting cartilage from enzymatic degradation — complementing the structural support from glucosamine and chondroitin.
What it is. DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid with anti-inflammatory properties relevant to joint tissue and synovial membrane health.
What it does. DHA reduces inflammatory cytokine production in joint tissue and supports healthy synovial membrane function. It incorporates into cell membranes throughout the joint, supporting overall joint tissue health.
Why we include it. DHA supports joint health through anti-inflammatory effects and membrane support — addressing joint comfort at the cellular level.
What it is. EPA is the omega-3 fatty acid with the most robust evidence for joint comfort support — particularly through its effects on inflammatory mediators in joint tissue.
What it does. EPA competes with arachidonic acid for inflammatory enzyme pathways, reducing pro-inflammatory prostaglandin and leukotriene production in joint tissue. It is converted to resolvins that actively promote resolution of joint inflammation.
Why we include it. EPA provides targeted anti-inflammatory support for joint tissue — complementing the structural support from glucosamine and chondroitin with inflammation modulation.
